About

Boro Yoga Fest started by local yoga instructor Kim Dunaway in 2016. Kim was inspired by yoga festival in Chattanooga and Nashville and wanted an event to showcase yoga instructors local to Murfreesboro. The first Boro Yoga Fest was held in March 2017 at Lane Agri Park with proceeds benefiting Prison Yoga Project. In 2019, Boro Yoga Fest had its largest event at Main Street with over 100 yogis attending. Boro Yoga Fest has donated to Prison Yoga Project, The Trini Foundation, and Yoga Foster. Boro Yoga Fest has also donated books to local inmates and mats for kids yoga programs. After a two year hiatus due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Boro Yoga Fest returned for its 4th event in 2022 at Cheval Manor.
